Stellenbeschreibung
Role overview
The technician will support a biomanufacturing operation by carrying out standard and specialised production activities in line with GMP requirements and safety rules. The job includes running and caring for production machinery, tracking process settings, capturing accurate records, and completing in-process checks to help maintain product consistency and batch integrity.
Working hours
This position runs Monday to Friday, from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.
Level of responsibility
The role is carried out under clearly written SOPs and work instructions, with close to moderate oversight. The technician is accountable for product quality during the production steps assigned to them and must escalate deviations, defects, or equipment concerns without delay. There may also be support for onboarding and training new operators.
Qualifications and experience
Experience in GMP-controlled or other regulated manufacturing settings is preferred. A Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification is required, while post-secondary technical training is an added advantage. GMP training certification is also beneficial. Candidates should have basic mechanical aptitude, be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and demonstrate strong attention to detail along with a clear focus on product safety.
The expected experience range is 0 to 2 years in manufacturing, packaging, or assembly. Experience in GMP or ISO-regulated settings is a plus, and previous cleanroom or sterile assembly exposure would be helpful.
Knowledge and skills
The role calls for working knowledge of GMP, GDP (Good Documentation Practices), and core regulatory expectations. Understanding of cleanroom classes, gowning procedures, contamination control, and standard manufacturing or assembly methods in a regulated setting is important.
