Working pattern

The pub operates early starts and late finishes, so the role offers flexible shift patterns across mornings, evenings, weekends and late-night work. The scheduled hours listed are 6:00 to 8:00 every day of the week, with a total of 6 hours per week.

Main duties

Your work will involve maintaining cleanliness across the pub and supporting a welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

• Keep all areas clean, including customer spaces, toilets, the bar, kitchen, staff rooms and outdoor areas.
• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning jobs in line with the stated procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Track stock levels of cleaning materials and inform the manager when supplies need replenishing.
• Report any maintenance concerns or pest-control issues to the duty manager.
• Greet customers courteously and use polite service language such as thank you and goodbye.
• Complete induction, role-based and ongoing refresher training, while helping improve standards over time.
