About the role

This position is for a CDP Consultant within Strategy & Consulting, Global Network Song. The role focuses on designing and executing digital marketing and customer data strategies that improve business outcomes through Customer Data Platforms and related martech tools.

You will work with clients on customer-facing challenges across sales, service, and marketing, and help shape solutions that support segmentation, personalization, activation, and broader customer data management.

Role summary

As a Digital Marketing Platform Consultant, you will assess existing customer data and CDP capabilities, recommend improvements to the current technology stack, and build practical use cases that increase platform value. The role also involves gathering requirements, defining data flows, advising on integrations, and supporting implementation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Review a client’s current data management setup and CDP maturity, then suggest improvements and use cases to strengthen platform usage.
  • Collect business needs and help design a digital marketing data program that supports strong customer profiles for segmentation, personalization, and activation across channels.
  • Map data sources, define methods to enrich profiles and segments, and create approaches for cleaning, transforming, and integrating data into the CDP.
  • Assess how CDP capabilities fit into the wider marketing technology ecosystem, including campaign management and insight generation, and recommend better ways to manage data.
  • Act as a business analyst or functional consultant during CDP implementation, including planning, designing, implementing, and integrating solutions such as Adobe Experience Platform RT-CDP.
  • Interpret the effect of privacy and data regulations such as CCPA and GDPR, along with client-specific or industry rules, on data collection and management.
  • Promote privacy-by-design and consent management practices for activating customer profiles across digital marketing channels.
  • Design integrations between tools and platforms using API-based and file-based methods across martech, adtech, and data-source environments.
  • Keep up with the martech ecosystem, engage vendors and partners, and propose pilot initiatives where useful to strengthen digital audience management capabilities.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the relevant domain is required.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Customer Data Platforms, Adobe Experience Platform, and digital audience management.
  • Solid understanding of marketing processes, data strategy, data management, data integration, and advertising or marketing technologies.
  • Experience creating and sustaining digital marketing data management programs.
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot digital marketing platforms effectively.
  • Experience working with tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Tealium is preferred.
  • Educational background in business administration or a related field is expected.
  • Relevant marketing platform certifications such as Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Tealium are valued.
