Role summary

The Captain is responsible for operating assigned flights in line with the Airline Operational Manual and all applicable civil aviation authority rules. The role carries overall command of the aircraft during duty periods, with a primary focus on safety, security, operational efficiency, and passenger comfort. The Captain also leads and supports the flight and cabin crew, manages emergencies and unexpected situations, and helps maintain a strong and professional corporate image.
