Company Overview
Unateus is an international business that provides end-to-end fulfillment and logistics solutions across Africa. The company is growing its sales function and is looking for seasoned call center sales professionals who can convert prospects into customers and consistently meet performance targets.
Role Summary
This role is centered on telemarketing, confirming orders, upselling, and supporting customers. It is a performance-focused position where success is assessed through weekly reviews, quality compliance, and steady delivery against key metrics. You will handle warm leads, meaning customers who have already shown interest in the products, and you will be expected to pitch confidently, increase order value, and complete order confirmations. The job also involves follow-up calls and resolving customer questions to create a smooth experience that encourages repeat business and protects the company’s reputation.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, telesales, customer support, or a call center environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and work with minimal supervision.
- A personal laptop or desktop, a working smartphone, and a headset.
- Dependable high-speed internet connectivity.
- A backup power arrangement such as a generator, UPS, or battery inverter is required.
- Comfort using CRM tools and browser-based work systems.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken; in addition, fluency in one or more major local languages is necessary to communicate effectively and drive sales.
