Busser - Surfside #60

Role overview

As a busser, you help keep the dining room, bar, and patio areas ready for guests by cleaning, resetting tables, and supporting the service team. The role is focused on maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout each shift.

What you'll do

• Follow the company’s safety rules, sanitation standards, and training procedures at all times.
• Reset tables quickly and neatly for arriving guests.
• Help guests and team members by removing used dishes, glassware, and other items from tables.
• Clear trash and debris from the bar area and dining room floors.
• Keep restrooms, outdoor parking areas, patio spaces, and waiting areas clean and orderly.
• Make sure high chairs and booster seats are clean and sanitary.
• Handle opening, closing, shift transition tasks, and any assigned side work.

Working conditions

• The job requires frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
• You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and place heavier items on shelves, in coolers, and in freezers.
• Work may take place in damp, hot conditions, with most duties indoors and limited outdoor exposure.

Requirements

• Completion and passing of the Florida Responsible Vendor program, in line with company rules and Florida law.
• Completion and passing of the food safety certification program, in line with company rules and Florida law.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Availability for a five-day work week.
