Main Purpose of the Role
This position supports the business development team by reviewing business processes, keeping important databases current, and coordinating documents tied to new business opportunities. The role also helps with pre-qualification and tender submissions so that all required materials are accurate and delivered on time. Working with internal departments and outside stakeholders, and under the direction of regional business development leadership, this role contributes to smoother operations, lower risk, and the identification of revenue opportunities through reliable administrative and analytical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist segment and regional business development teams in line with guidance from BD leadership to help deliver assigned tasks effectively.
- Keep records and databases for clients, vendors, subcontractors, and reference lists updated and accurate.
- Prepare and manage project certifications, TOACs, satisfaction letters, and other commercial documents needed for day-to-day business operations and compliance.
- Draft pre-qualification submissions for projects according to the stated requirements to support bidding and tender processes.
- Review Instructions to Bidders (ITBs) to spot possible risks and opportunities and support better bid decisions.
- Track bid bonds and related financial paperwork to make sure tender requirements are complete and compliant.
- Produce reports through division systems and help create organized data outputs for business development reporting.
- Support the BD team with data-based insights for pipeline review and opportunity monitoring.
- Track KPIs and pipeline activity to maintain clear visibility into business performance and opportunity progress.
- Work with marketing teams by sharing pipeline information and supporting content for events, giveaways, customer kits, and similar activities.
- Help ensure compliance with HSE and Quality Management System standards, serve as the quality contact for commercial processes, suggest process improvements, and take on administrative and other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business management or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Overall professional experience of 2 to 4 years.
