Role Overview
This junior business development position is focused on connecting with prospective clients, understanding their business needs, and positioning the right software offerings. The role involves client communication, lead nurturing, product demos, CRM updates, and ongoing relationship building to support revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to potential customers through chat, email, and phone to learn about their requirements and recommend suitable software products.
- Explain product capabilities, business value, and pricing details in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Track and follow up on incoming leads, guiding them through each stage of the sales process.
- Arrange and deliver product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients.
- Keep accurate records of conversations, follow-ups, and sales activity in the CRM.
- Develop strong client relationships that encourage repeat purchases and referrals.
- Monitor market movements, competitor actions, and industry updates to stay commercially aware.
- Share client insights and product feedback with the development team to help improve the software.
- Capture customer requirements and feedback carefully so they can be used for ongoing product enhancement.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or a comparable role, ideally within the software sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with good English proficiency.
- Comfort using chat-based tools to interact with clients.
- Ability to work effectively on your own as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Hands-on experience selling software or similar products.
- Willingness to work rotational or assigned shifts.
