Role overview
IMDA is hiring a Business Analyst to support AI-related initiatives by working closely with business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams. The role focuses on turning business needs into practical specifications, improving processes, and helping teams adopt solutions effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with management, end users, and technical teams to collect, analyse, and document detailed requirements for AI solutions.
- Convert business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories that align with both development priorities and business objectives.
- Review current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend automation or process improvements using AI tools.
- Carry out functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm that configurations satisfy business needs and meet quality standards.
- Build reports and dashboards that help teams make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Deliver user training and provide continued support to encourage effective use of AI solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities where AI can create value and improve efficiency and innovation across the division.
Requirements
- A background in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar capacity.
- Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum delivery methods.
- Strong capability in requirements gathering, process mapping, and user story creation.
- Practical experience creating reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas to different audiences.
- Analytical thinking with a solid focus on problem-solving and process enhancement.
Additional information
This is a full-time onsite position based in Singapore. The role is centered on supporting AI solution delivery and adoption, with an emphasis on business process improvement, reporting, testing, and stakeholder collaboration.
