Role Overview

The Brand Design team is a compact specialist group that supports campaigns, web, events, sales storytelling, and motion. Working closely with Marketing, the team serves much of the wider organisation with the discipline and accountability of an in-house studio.

This role suits a designer who combines strong craft with the ability to take work from idea to launch independently. What You Will Do

  • Develop brand and campaign creative for digital, print, social, events, and motion, managing the work from concept through final delivery while maintaining quality throughout.
  • Design for web and carry projects through to production in no-code settings, with Claude Code, or in collaboration with front-end teams.
  • Support video and motion output, including brand animation, product storytelling, event content, and kinetic identity work.
  • Create brand templates, component systems, and self-service resources that help the broader company produce high-quality work independently.
  • Design and refine AI-assisted brand workflows that connect brand intelligence to the tools and channels used by Marketing, Sales, and the wider business.
  • Review brand touchpoints to identify and fix inconsistencies across channels and self-serve materials.
  • Produce brand guidance that explains the reasoning behind design choices so teams can make strong decisions in new situations.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product early in the brief stage and contribute brand perspective from the beginning of each project.
  • Assess the results of your work, learn from what succeeds or fails, and improve future output based on those insights.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Three to six years of brand design experience, with a portfolio showing range, craftsmanship, and a strong creative point of view across work that has been shipped.
  • Solid design fundamentals in typography, layout, colour, and composition, or strong motion fundamentals if that is your main background.
  • Agency experience, along with a desire to take on more end-to-end ownership than client service roles usually allow.
  • Practical experience in motion design, brand animation, or product storytelling.
  • Experience using no-code or low-code tools in a brand or marketing environment.
  • A track record of creating enablement assets such as templates, guidelines, or self-serve tools that non-designers actually adopt.
  • Hands-on use of AI build tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Figma Make to produce real outcomes rather than only experimenting with the tools.
  • A mature, practical perspective on AI in creative work, including where it is useful, where it is limited, and how to balance the two.
  • A strong ownership mindset, with the habit of carrying work through rather than defaulting to handoff.
