Job Summary

The BIM Manager will work closely with project owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to shape and evaluate the virtual construction workflow. The aim is to improve construction efficiency, reduce job costs, strengthen project documentation, and support smoother project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, roll out, and maintain BIM standards, procedures, and workflows that improve design and technical coordination across projects.
  • Lead and support BIM teams so that BIM methods and best practices are applied consistently.
  • Partner with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to embed BIM into project processes and strengthen coordination between disciplines.
  • Supervise the development and upkeep of BIM models, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and aligned with project specifications and standards.
  • Carry out routine quality checks on BIM outputs, including model reviews for clashes, mistakes, and inconsistencies.
  • Oversee BIM software licences, tools, and other resources so project teams can work efficiently and productively.
  • Train and assist project personnel on BIM tools and methods, helping build a strong culture of BIM capability and innovation.
  • Keep track of developments, trends, and leading practices in BIM technology and processes, and apply relevant updates to project workflows.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between project teams and clients for BIM-related needs, updates, and deliverables.
  • Promote ongoing improvement in BIM workflows by finding opportunities to increase efficiency, collaboration, and project results.
  • Assist with HSE initiatives, take part in safety awareness efforts, and help with incident reporting and follow-up in line with company and IMS policies.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong experience in BIM implementation, model coordination, and virtual construction processes.
  • Ability to use BIM platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 for model creation, management, and coordination.
  • Solid understanding of architecture, engineering, and construction principles.
  • Project management capability to coordinate multiple teams and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Deep knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and workflow design.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills for stakeholder coordination, training, and process improvement.
  • ERP exposure, preferably SAP functional knowledge, is considered important for success in this role.

Experience and Education

Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree and bring 12 to 14 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in a BIM Manager role managing a mega project.
