Role Overview
This position is based at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar. The role sits within Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group with a portfolio of more than 530 properties across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America, operating through brands such as Anantara, Avani, Elewana, Oaks, NH Hotels, NH Collection, nhow, and TIVOLI.
What You Will Do
You will help lead the resort’s food and beverage function so that guest satisfaction, team performance, and commercial outcomes are all improved. The role focuses on delivering a consistently high standard of service, maintaining hygiene and safety, and making sure every product served meets brand and F&B quality expectations.
You will also contribute to building a strong, cooperative team culture, support day-to-day people management, and encourage staff to solve problems proactively through good training, guidance, and empowerment.
Responsibilities
- Support the resort’s overall food and beverage operations.
- Work to increase guest satisfaction and ensure service quality remains high.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary working environment.
- Ensure all food and beverage items served meet premium quality standards.
- Promote a positive team atmosphere and strong collaboration across the outlet.
- Provide prompt and courteous service aligned with brand standards and F&B procedures.
- Manage daily team relations and help resolve workplace issues.
- Train and empower team members to take ownership of problems and solutions.
Qualifications
The employer is looking for someone with a college diploma in Hotel Management or a related discipline, along with prior experience in food and beverage or restaurant operations.
