Role Overview

The Assistant Manager Logistics Training will take charge of training operations and support rider hiring efforts to help maintain a strong and efficient fleet. This role combines team leadership, training design, onboarding, and operational support for hiring and fleet supply planning.

Training Leadership

• Guide and support the training team while identifying current and future development needs through job analysis, career progression, annual appraisals, and discussions with trainers and line managers.
• Create training plans at both overall and individual levels to match identified skill gaps and business expectations.
• Use multiple learning formats such as coaching, mentoring, on-the-job learning, digital training, workshops, and simulations.
• Run induction and orientation programs for new joiners.
• Track training outcomes regularly, measure effectiveness and return on investment, and share reports on program performance.
• Oversee the training budget and use it in a cost-effective way.
• Support continuous learning so employees can keep building their capabilities.
• Address training-related issues and adjust learning plans where needed.
• Stay updated on current training approaches, industry developments, and best practices.

Hiring and Fleet Support

• Lead the hiring team and manage the recruitment process to ensure the rider fleet remains adequately staffed.
• Maintain the monthly supply model to help improve fleet planning and utilization.
• Coach the hiring team on how to conduct short interviews with new riders and assess their basic abilities.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working as a trainer.
• Proven ability to design and deliver training programs successfully.
• Knowledge of both conventional and modern learning methods, including mentoring, coaching, on-the-job training, e-learning, workshops, and simulations.
• Strong communication and team leadership capabilities.
• Ability to organize tasks, work across priorities, and manage time efficiently.
• Solid writing skills and the ability to maintain accurate reports and training documentation.
• Good analytical ability and comfort working with databases.
• Knowledge of Arabic and/or Hindi/Urdu is an added advantage.
