Role Summary

The Assistant In-Room Dining Manager is responsible for supervising the in-room dining operation and shaping a smooth guest experience from order taking through delivery. The role focuses on service quality, guest satisfaction, clear menu and beverage communication, and efficient coordination between guests, servers, and the kitchen.

Key Duties

  • Interact with guests and colleagues in a courteous, service-focused, and professional way at all times.
  • Follow the hotel’s operating standards and safety requirements to support effective and secure day-to-day operations.
  • Serve as the communication link between service staff, guests, and the kitchen team.
  • Manage and support daily service across morning, evening, and overnight shifts, including cleaning tasks aligned with corporate SOPs and arranging needed supplies.
  • Oversee guest seating/placement selections and ensure proper distribution.
  • Coordinate staffing for each shift and manage the table setup area.
  • Check and supervise table presentation for meal service.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor during shifts, greeting guests and engaging with them as needed.
