About the Program
HDFC Bank, in partnership with NIIT IFBI, is running the ACE Banker Program to prepare candidates for customer-facing roles in retail banking. The initiative is designed to build job-ready Customer Care Executives and Customer Experience Executives with training across branch operations, service, sales, and reporting.
Role Overview
Selected candidates are trained for a fast-track entry into the Assistant Manager role at HDFC Bank after completing a 45-day residential learning program. Training is conducted at NIIT-affiliated campuses, and successful candidates receive placement at an HDFC Bank branch after meeting the required performance criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day branch operations, including teller activities, customer service, and routine reporting.
- Assist customers at the welcome desk and teller counter while maintaining a service-plus-sales approach.
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable banking solutions such as savings accounts, deposits, loans, insurance, and investment products.
- Promote and sell banking offerings, including third-party products like insurance and mutual funds.
- Follow all KYC, AML, and HDFC Bank policy requirements to ensure compliance.
- Handle onboarding for new customers within the assigned turnaround timelines.
- Process transactions and maintain customer records using FlexCube banking software.
- Work toward assigned business targets based on volume and value scorecards.
Program Details
The training path is a residential 45-day program intended for graduates. Candidates must complete classroom learning and secure at least 60% marks to move forward into placement as an Assistant Manager at HDFC Bank.
Fees and Compensation
The program fee is 1,50,000 plus GST. During the 45-day residential training, candidates receive a stipend of 7,500. The offered salary after placement is 4.4 LPA.
Selection Process
- Submit the online application form.
- Complete the online assessment and interview.
- Enroll in the program and pay the registration fee.
- Undergo document verification and receive the letter of intent from HDFC Bank.
- Attend the 45-day residential training.
- Join HDFC Bank as an Assistant Manager after successful completion.
Additional Information
The program includes certification in the ACE Banker Program from NIIT IFBI and a provisional letter of intent from HDFC Bank as part of the candidate benefits.
