Role overview
Nestlé Purina Petcare Singapore is hiring an Assistant Brand Manager for its Changi Business Park office in Singapore. The role sits within a company focused on pet wellbeing and the people who care for pets, and it offers a fast-paced environment with strong emphasis on employee development.
What the role will focus on
You will help shape and deliver portfolio brand plans that support the wider business strategy. The position requires close coordination with the core business team, channel stakeholders, sales partners, agencies, and vendors to turn plans into effective market execution.
Key accountabilities
- Plan and drive brand initiatives that support portfolio objectives and business goals.
- Assist in reviewing brand results, tracking performance, and managing spend.
- Coordinate internal Nestlé processes needed to roll out approved plans and activities.
- Partner with the Channel team to help ensure targets and agreed actions are delivered.
- Contribute to business strategy and the Integrated Commercial Planning process by identifying opportunities across consumers, competitors, and the wider market.
- Create and execute brand activations and campaigns across ATL and BTL channels, including consumer promotions, while staying aligned with communication standards.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders, sales teams, agencies, and suppliers to implement trade and consumer activities with strong execution quality.
- Track category and brand performance, competitive movement, consumer trends, and market insights to uncover growth opportunities.
- Prepare business updates, analysis, and recommendations for brands, SKUs, and total portfolio performance, including post-campaign reviews.
- Manage PFME budgets in line with brand plans and ensure investments are reviewed and optimized.
- Follow company principles, policies, and governance requirements at all times.
Candidate profile
The preferred candidate is a graduate with around 3 years of experience in consumer marketing and/or CCSD, ideally with field sales exposure or demonstrated strength in core functional skills. Prior success in building brands through consumer insight is expected for external applicants.
