Its services include monthly accounting, sales trust accounting, HR support, and software solutions for Ray White business owners. Working across roughly 900 businesses in Australia and New Zealand, RWAS offers strong scope for future growth and is looking to build a team of accountants with excellent communication and relationship-building ability.
The Role
The Assistant Accountant will provide important support to the Management Accounting team and help Ray White business owners better understand financial performance and opportunities to improve profitability.
This is an entry-level opportunity suited to someone currently studying or recently completed their studies. The role offers flexibility to work full time or four days per week, along with training, coaching, and development support within RWAS.
Key Duties
- Carry out monthly accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations and managing debtors and creditors.
- Handle bill payment runs and respond to client questions during month-end close.
- Work alongside accountants on daily operations, including preparing workpapers for compliance-related work.
- Step in to assist with more advanced assignments when other team members are away on leave.
