Role overview
A global placement agent focused on capital raising for private equity, infrastructure, and credit funds is expanding its New York project management function and hiring an experienced analyst. The position sits within the fundraising execution team and supports client work across alternative investments.
Key responsibilities
- Help drive fundraising initiatives for alternative investment funds from launch through completion.
- Keep multiple project timelines on track, monitor action items, and make sure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Prepare and review investor-facing materials such as pitch books, private placement memoranda, due diligence questionnaires, and investor communications.
- Maintain detailed logs of investor engagement and ensure CRM records remain accurate and up to date.
- Arrange roadshows, investor sessions, and follow-up coordination with the distribution team.
- Work with clients to gather, structure, and organize materials and answers needed for investor due diligence.
- Produce recurring reports and analytical summaries for internal stakeholders and clients.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 18 months of experience in investment banking or with a placement agent; exposure to M&A, ECM, leveraged finance, or a financial sponsors team is strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is advantageous.
- Genuine interest in private markets and motivation to build a career in the alternative investment space.
- Fluent English communication skills.
