About Taktile
Taktile helps financial institutions become AI-native by using autonomous agents to power smarter decisions. Its modular Agentic Decision Platform combines AI agents, rules, relevant context, and human oversight to automate and improve high-stakes workflows such as customer approvals, instant claim reimbursements, and business financing.
Founded in 2020, Taktile supports millions of decisions each day for customers such as Mercury, Monzo, Faire, and Pleo. The company operates from New York, London, Berlin, São Paulo, and Iași, and has raised $189M from Goldman Sachs Growth Equity, Index Ventures, Tiger Global, Balderton Capital, and Y Combinator.
About the Role
This internal-facing operations role is focused on making AI genuinely useful across the company. Rather than building customer-facing features, you will design the tools, integrations, and workflows that help every team member work faster and more effectively.
You will be the first person dedicated to this mission and will work closely with team leads to identify the highest-impact AI workflows, then build and scale them. The role combines strategy and execution: you will define the roadmap, report to leadership, and also create and run workflows directly. The position inherits an existing internal program and includes support for infrastructure and agent building.
This is a hybrid role and requires at least 3 days per week in one of the offices in Berlin, Iași, or London.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Taktile’s internal AI roadmap and prioritize use cases across go-to-market, operations, and G&A functions.
- Keep track of market movement, peer approaches, regulatory changes, and new tools or models, then bring useful ideas back into the business.
- Regularly assess the current AI setup and improve it to increase adoption and efficiency.
- Share progress, adoption metrics, and ROI updates with leadership.
- Set the company’s standard for production-ready AI workflows and serve as the quality checkpoint and escalation point for solutions built by internal teams.
- Create a framework for deciding when to build, buy, approve, or retire AI point solutions in partnership with other teams.
- Develop internal tools and agents end-to-end that connect systems such as HubSpot, Notion, Linear, and Gong into day-to-day workflows.
- Own the full lifecycle of workflow delivery, including scoping, design, implementation, rollout, and iteration.
- Adapt the AI architecture based on team needs and measurable efficiency gains.
- Spot, rank, and scale automation opportunities across the business, while being clear about what should be automated now and what should remain manual for the moment.
- Work closely with Engineering, Go-to-Market, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to identify friction-heavy workflows where AI can have the biggest effect.
- Build shared ownership within teams and coordinate a network of AI champions so workflows continue to run without relying on a single central owner.
- Increase adoption through workshops, paired working sessions, and office hours so teams know how to use the tools effectively.
- Partner with Security and IT to put governance controls in place, including least-privilege access, scoped permissions, and audit trails that protect customer data and production systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in consulting, operations, or another senior cross-functional role.
- Strong Python and SQL skills, including the ability to write and review production-quality code; a technical background such as data science is preferred.
- Practical experience deploying solutions and building with modern LLM tooling, including agent frameworks, tool use, prompt design, MCP, and evaluation methods.
- Solid technical understanding of LLM pipelines, agentic workflows, and system integrations.
- Strong problem-solving ability and the judgment to make fast, well-informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent program management skills in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills for leadership updates, playbooks, and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technology Stack
The role works with Claude for AI, Python for development, AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and Terraform for the data platform, and internal systems such as Notion, Linear, HubSpot, Gong, and Ramp.
What Taktile Offers
- Collaborative colleagues who challenge, support, and help you grow.
- The chance to shape an early-stage company and make a visible impact.

- Learning opportunities through experienced mentors and exposure to a strong investor and advisor network.
- A compensation package with top-of-market equity and cash.
- A self-development budget for conferences, books, classes, and similar learning.
- Choice of equipment, including a meaningful home office setup.
