About the Company
The hiring organisation is a major jewellery retailer in India with more than 60 stores nationwide.
Role Overview
This position is for an accounting professional who can handle day-to-day finance operations, maintain accurate records, and support reconciliation, compliance, and payment-related work.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and clear accounting mismatches and related discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit GST filings as required.
- Work regularly on Tally software for accounting operations.
- Record banking transactions across all bank accounts.
- Carry out monthly account reconciliation activities.
- Manage ledger reconciliation along with TDS-related work.
- Handle invoicing and payment processing.
- Support payroll or salary processing tasks.
- Assist with budgeting activities.
Candidate Profile
The role suits applicants with at least 3 years of accounting experience. Strong computer proficiency, especially in MS Office, accounting tools, and database systems, is expected. The candidate should also be highly organised and capable of solving problems effectively.
