About the internship
This role offers hands-on exposure to B2B and modern trade sales in the dairy sector. The intern will support field sales activity, retailer engagement, market observation, and reporting work while learning how retail accounts and store-level relationships are managed.
Key responsibilities
- Support the B2B and Modern Trade sales team in handling retail accounts and maintaining relationships with store partners.
- Visit stores and cover market routes to review product availability, shelf visibility, and pricing.
- Speak with consumers and end users to understand feedback, preferences, and buying patterns.
- Assist with in-store promotions, product sampling, and merchandising activities.
- Help identify new retail outlets and potential B2B opportunities while gathering market intelligence.
- Work with retailers to better understand demand trends and customer preferences.
- Contribute to sales data collection, analysis, and regular reporting.
- Share weekly observations along with practical recommendations based on field findings.

Other requirements
- Pursuing an MBA or PGDM with a focus on Marketing, Sales, Retail, or Operations.
- Strong interest in sales, retail operations, and consumer behavior.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in the field and interacting with retailers and consumers.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.
