This entry-level Workday Specialist position in Houston, TX supports global HR technology operations on the Workday platform. The role works closely with the Senior Global Workday Administrator to help with system setup, reporting, user training, data maintenance, security administration, issue resolution, and release readiness.

Key Duties

  • Assist the Senior Global Workday Administrator with setting up business processes, fulfilling ad hoc reporting requests, delivering training to end users, and maintaining global Workday data.
  • Help manage Workday security roles and access permissions so that data access remains appropriate and compliant.
  • Carry out scheduled and one-off data audits and quality checks, and partner with regional teams to correct discrepancies at the source.
  • Review and investigate system errors reported by employees around the world, with support from the Senior Global Workday Administrator.
  • Support HR teams worldwide in preparing for Workday releases by reviewing release notes, identifying impacts, communicating updates, and coordinating testing.
  • Take part in the full system lifecycle when needed, including design, testing, documentation, and deployment of enhancements and new features.
  • Help research, diagnose, and resolve system issues while providing global user support.
  • Work with the Senior Global Workday Administrator to adjust and tailor Workday, and to test new applications and functionality.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
