Value Creation Partner - Private Equity

Role overview

This opportunity is with a major investment platform seeking a senior operating leader to serve as a value creation specialist across its portfolio. The role is designed for someone who can work closely with management teams to unlock meaningful EBITDA improvement and guide operational change.

The position covers a broad set of sectors, including healthcare, education, technology, infrastructure, and consumer businesses. It also involves frequent travel across the Gulf region to work directly with portfolio company leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of value creation plans from the post-acquisition stage through to exit readiness across multiple assets.
• Improve EBITDA through commercial growth, margin enhancement, cost restructuring, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate directly with executive teams, providing hands-on advisory support and, where needed, serving in interim C-suite leadership roles.
• Work alongside deal teams during due diligence to evaluate commercial upside and test the main value creation assumptions.
• Support exit preparation by improving EBITDA quality, strengthening leadership, sharpening ESG positioning, and ensuring vendor due diligence readiness.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings 10 to 15 years of experience with strong P&L accountability and has likely worked as a CEO, COO, CFO, or senior consultant with exposure to private equity.

They should have direct experience operating in or alongside private equity environments and understand investment cycles as well as the mechanics of value creation.

Deep expertise in at least one core area is required, such as revenue growth, operational excellence, finance transformation, or digital strategy.

Relevant sector exposure includes healthcare, education, technology, infrastructure, consumer, or closely related industries.

A strong academic record is important, and an MBA from a top-tier institution is considered an advantage.

Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.
