Supply Chain Analyst

Position overview

We are hiring a proactive and adaptable Supply Chain Analyst who can take ownership, work independently, and contribute to business growth. In this role, you will help improve distribution, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination in support of franchisee performance and supply chain efficiency.

Distribution and franchisee operations

• Act as the main contact for everyday distributor and franchisee operational needs.
• Keep communication with partners accurate, clear, and timely.
• Handle supporting documentation, confirm distributor information, and monitor inventory levels and lead times.
• Bring together order guide details so item data and pricing remain correct for both internal teams and external partners.

Inventory and demand analysis

• Gather, assess, and compare distributor sales data with internal data to strengthen order fulfillment.
• Use analytical tools and software to track productivity, improve workflows, and spot potential risks early.
• Maintain suitable stock levels at distributors and third-party storage sites.
• Watch for risks tied to slow-moving inventory, product expiry, and shelf-life limitations to help keep supply continuous.

Supply chain collaboration and partner support

• Work with internal teams and outside partners such as 3PLs, suppliers, distributors, and retail locations.
• Check pricing, service standards, and contract adherence for accuracy.
• Spot mismatches, raise them promptly, and help drive resolution.
• Coordinate closely with Operations to solve supply problems and support stable product availability.

Budgeting and performance analysis

• Monitor supply chain budgets and performance measures, including cost per unit, freight spend, and inventory carrying costs.
• Review operational results to find opportunities for greater efficiency, lower costs, and better processes.

Additional duties

• Take on other responsibilities as needed to support the broader Supply Chain function.

Qualifications and requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or distribution operations.
• Background in retail or food service environments is an asset.
• Excellent organization skills with strong precision and careful attention to detail.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, along with experience using ERP systems.
• Strong, direct communication skills and a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
• Valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to travel to partner sites and stores.
• Occasional travel across North America is expected, so a valid passport is necessary.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position is CA$55,000 to CA$65,000.
