Senior Executive (Programmes), IP Academy

About the role

In this position, you will help advance IP education in Singapore and internationally by supporting the growth of a strong intellectual property skills ecosystem that contributes to innovation, business development, and wider economic progress.

You will take ownership of a variety of training initiatives, helping participants build capability, knowledge, and professional confidence. The role involves close collaboration with industry leaders, public agencies, and overseas partners to design learning solutions that are practical, scalable, and aligned with new and emerging skill requirements. You will also contribute to strategic work such as landscape scanning and data-led analysis that informs organisational priorities.

As a member of a dynamic and future-focused team, you will be expected to think deeply, question assumptions, and bring forward ideas that add value beyond day-to-day execution. Your work will support both strong programme delivery and long-term ecosystem development.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal stakeholders, industry specialists, and clients to plan and deliver training programmes from initial idea through to completion.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while promoting training offerings that match changing needs.
• Spot, develop, and secure new business opportunities and partnerships in Singapore and overseas.
• Gather, assess, and interpret programme and stakeholder information to measure outcomes, monitor performance, and guide decisions based on evidence.
• Support corporate planning and strategic review processes through analysis and practical recommendations.
• Drive course development initiatives by engaging stakeholders to understand shifting industry and client requirements, translating those insights into programme concepts, and working with subject matter experts on content creation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; fresh graduates may apply.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in an Institute of Higher Learning would be an advantage.
• Ability to organise and interpret data, carry out basic analysis, and turn findings into useful insights for planning and decision-making.
• Interest in strategic thinking, industry trends, ecosystem development, and the broader impact of training initiatives.
• Proven experience in programme or project coordination, along with strong interpersonal skills for working with internal teams, trainers, clients, and industry bodies.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable working independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Careful, detail-oriented, and responsible in approach.
• ACTA or ACLP certification would be an added advantage.
