About the Role
Flipkart Commerce Cloud is hiring a high-performing senior business development professional to create pipeline and grow strategic accounts across North America. The role suits someone with strong B2B SaaS business development experience, a consultative selling style, and the confidence to speak with senior decision-makers in retail, eCommerce, marketplace, and digital commerce businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and run outbound prospecting efforts aimed at enterprise and mid-market retailers, brands, marketplaces, and commerce technology firms.
- Build qualified sales pipeline through coordinated outreach across email, LinkedIn, calls, events, and partner channels.
- Study target companies, buying groups, and key stakeholders to improve account strategy.
- Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing teams to progress inbound and outbound opportunities.
- Lead discovery calls and assess fit using established qualification methods.
- Keep CRM data accurate and maintain strong hygiene across pipeline and activity tracking.
- Build a solid understanding of FCC offerings, including pricing intelligence, retail media, digital commerce, and marketplace technology solutions.
- Monitor market shifts, competitor moves, and broader industry trends in the region.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS business development, SDR, BDR, or inside sales roles.
- Demonstrated success in generating pipeline for North American markets.
- Strong background in outbound prospecting and account-based development.
- Excellent spoken and written communication abilities.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to retail, eCommerce, marketplace, CPG, or digital commerce organizations.
- Understanding of Retail Media Networks, AdTech, MarTech, pricing and promotions, search and merchandising, or commerce platforms.
- Comfort working with enterprise buying processes and business culture in the US and Canada.
- Experience managing strategic enterprise accounts and long, complex sales cycles.
Work Timings and Location
This is a work-from-office role based in Bengaluru, India, with a 5-day office schedule. The shift timing is 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST.
