Accountabilities

• Build research prototypes and sandbox environments that turn conceptual ideas into modular systems suitable for fast validation.
• Create evaluation frameworks and benchmarking utilities so decision systems can be assessed with consistency and rigor.
• Develop experimental pipelines and architectures that support iterative testing, A/B trials, and structured model comparisons.
• Support and improve research infrastructure with an emphasis on reproducibility, stability, and scalable workflows across teams.
• Work side by side with research scientists to translate theory into runnable systems and provide early feedback on technical feasibility and constraints.
• Assist with system integration by surfacing engineering limitations early and helping refine research direction based on practical realities.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, with a track record of building modular, dependable, and maintainable systems in complex environments.
• Experience with prototype-led, experimental, or research-adjacent work, preferably in AI, analytics, or similarly advanced technical settings.
• Comfort working in ambiguous research environments where requirements change often and clarity is developed through iteration.
• Familiarity with AI pipelines, decision systems, or data-driven architectures, including how to design systems for evaluation and experimentation.
• Ability to move quickly without sacrificing rigor, reproducibility, or technical quality.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with researchers and engineers, especially when concepts are still being defined.
