About the Role

FVN Research is assembling a focused public-markets research group. The team operates as an independent research initiative centered on structured investment analysis, market research, and quantitative research workflows. The immediate priority is to strengthen the research base through disciplined analysis, alpha-generation work, backtesting, and polished research outputs for public markets.

What You’ll Work On

As a Research Analyst, you may contribute across fundamental investment research, macro and sector analysis, quantitative signal exploration, backtesting, investment memos, deal-focused insights, and publication-ready research pieces. The role is designed for careful thinking, strong output, and high standards in research quality.

Candidate Profile

The team is seeking motivated students and early-career candidates, ideally with backgrounds in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline. Prior exposure to Python, Excel, valuation, statistics, backtesting, investment writing, or data analysis is an advantage. That said, the main qualities being sought are reliability, intellectual honesty, initiative, and a real interest in public markets.
