Role Overview
This position is for a Quality Engineering professional focused on test automation and validation of AI/LLM-driven products. The role combines traditional QA responsibilities with modern AI-assisted testing practices, automation framework development, and quality checks across agile delivery environments.
Technical Qualifications
- Bring 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, quality engineering, or test automation.
- Advanced working knowledge of Playwright for automation testing.
- Strong programming ability in Python, including building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Practical experience with API validation through Postman.
- Experience embedding automated tests into CI/CD workflows.
- Solid understanding of testing approaches, SDLC, and Agile ways of working.
AI and LLM Testing
- Experience assessing applications powered by AI or large language models.
- Familiarity with prompt design, prompt verification, and LLM evaluation methods.
- Working knowledge of Promptfoo or comparable AI evaluation tools.
- Ability to evaluate hallucinations, relevance, and response quality.
AI-Assisted Development
- Comfort using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
- Ability to use AI tools to speed up test creation and increase automation productivity.
Agile Delivery Experience
- Experience collaborating in Scrum or Kanban-based teams.
- Participation in sprint planning, retrospectives, and refinement activities.
- Understanding of shift-left testing and continuous quality practices.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to Playwright MCP or agent-driven automation frameworks.
- Mobile test automation experience with Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, or similar tools.
- Experience validating AI products, generative AI platforms, or Copilot-style solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and DevOps workflows.
- Knowledge of performance, security, or accessibility testing.
