Overview

GS1India is part of the global GS1 network headquartered in Brussels, which manages 111 GS1 member organizations worldwide. These organizations develop and enforce international standards to improve supply chain information flow and organizational efficiency. GS1 standards are widely applied across 25 industry sectors, including retail, healthcare, and logistics, empowering more than a million companies globally. Their solutions encompass product identification, authentication, tracking, counterfeit detection, inventory management, and more.

Internship Responsibilities

• Visiting retail stores for on-site observations and data gathering.
• Using the Smart Consumer App on iOS or Android devices to scan product barcodes.
• Documenting daily store visit details meticulously in Excel spreadsheets.
• Compiling monthly reports and initiating required follow-up measures.
• Identifying misuse or non-compliance cases by manufacturers or brand owners and advising correct procedures based on guidance provided.

Eligibility and Internship Conditions

Applicants must be able to commit to a full-time, in-office internship lasting three months, beginning between August 3rd and September 7th, 2026. Candidates should possess relevant skills and a strong interest in operational processes.

Additional Information

The internship offers valuable professional experience within a globally recognized standards organization. Interns will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation. The workweek consists of five days.
