Logistics Specialist

Role overview

This position supports the Distribution Manager in executing supply chain activities for Regional Distribution Centre operations. The role contributes to cross-functional projects with both internal teams and external partners, while looking for practical ways to improve productivity across the business.

Key responsibilities

You will coordinate with service providers to help ensure shipments move in and out on time, covering import and export flows as well as day-to-day warehousing tasks. This includes handling inbound movement, inventory control, outbound processes, reverse logistics, and related administrative work so customer needs are met reliably.

The role also involves collaborating with teams across the business, applying lean methods, working within global standards and guidelines, and addressing root causes to improve cost efficiency, service quality, and overall operational performance.

In addition, you will work closely with functions such as Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing to support stronger customer service outcomes. You will also interpret and communicate global KPIs and performance reports, and take responsibility for cost control, audits, and checks to ensure appropriate risk-mitigation controls remain in place across operations.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain is required, along with at least 2 years of logistics experience.

You should be comfortable using Microsoft tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and have strong written and spoken English skills. Good interpersonal communication, high motivation, customer orientation, and a continuous-improvement mindset are important for success in this role.

We are also looking for someone with strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and sound numerical ability. Experience with SAP is preferred. The role requires the ability to manage several tasks at once, meet tight deadlines, and work in both operational and office settings.
