Role overview

Eurest is looking to add full-time Janitors right away. The position is based at Delta Sky Club, 2600 Maynard H Jackson Jr Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30354.

Schedule

This is a full-time role with flexible availability preferred. Weekend work is required, and additional scheduling details will be discussed during the interview.

Job summary

The janitor will keep the facility neat, sanitary, and well-organized. The work includes heavy cleaning duties such as floor care, rug shampooing, wall and glass cleaning, and trash removal.

Key duties

• Remove and dispose of waste using approved procedures and infection-control standards.
• Dry dust and damp mop floors according to set cleaning protocols.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for thorough cleaning, then return items to their proper places.
• Clean assigned spaces using the provided tools and materials, including sanitizing surfaces and following the eight-step cleaning process.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and similar surfaces to support a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Identify areas that need attention and take initiative to address them.
• Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and county rules and procedures.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors, and shampoo carpets when needed.
• Work cooperatively with the team and maintain a professional attitude toward customers, coworkers, and others.
• Carry out any other assigned duties.

Experience and requirements

Prior janitorial experience is required. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the role with or without a reasonable accommodation. Some positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.

Pay and application details

The wage for this position is $15.44 to $15.80 per hour. Applications are accepted continuously until all openings are filled.
