Role Overview

The Data Analytics unit turns raw data into meaningful insight and visual output. It supports major strategic and transformation initiatives by delivering business intelligence to leaders across the organisation. A key objective of the team is to automate data extraction, reporting, and dashboarding wherever possible.

In this role, you will convert data into actionable knowledge that helps the business make informed decisions. You will partner with multiple teams to understand their information needs, gather and interpret relevant data, and present findings through clear reports, dashboards, and visualisations.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across departments to understand their reporting needs, analytical questions, and operational challenges.
• Convert business requirements into practical data queries and analysis work.
• Use SQL and related data handling tools to pull, clean, and transform information from different sources.
• Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to uncover trends, patterns, and irregularities.
• Create and update reports, dashboards, and visual displays that communicate insights effectively.
• Coordinate with data engineering and data science teams to maintain accuracy and consistency in the data.
• Present technical findings in a way that is easy to understand for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Guide, support, and coach a team of data translators to ensure strong analysis and communication quality.
• Design ways to strengthen the team’s capability in data translation and stakeholder communication.
• Track team workload, define goals, review performance, and provide ongoing feedback and mentoring.
• Encourage a cooperative, positive, and productive team culture.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a closely related field.
• Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Working knowledge of BI platforms and technologies, including SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI, and Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Data Science, or a related discipline is required.

This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is a full-time, on-site role.
