Role Overview
The Housekeeper supports day-to-day resort operations by cleaning guest units and helping maintain the property’s quality standards. The position involves cleaning bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, lobbies, and other shared spaces, along with making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
The role also includes restocking amenities such as toiletries and kitchenware, handling linens, and contributing to a positive experience for guests and coworkers. In addition, the housekeeper is expected to address guest questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and work toward resolving issues to improve guest satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Clean resort units, including sleeping areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
- Vacuum, dust, sanitize, and make beds according to housekeeping quality standards.
- Refill guest supplies such as toiletries and kitchenware.
- Sort, count, fold, carry, and manage linens as needed.
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and service issues in a courteous and effective way.
- Maintain strong working relationships with guests, owners, and team members.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, able to communicate clearly with employees, guests, and owners, and capable of following instructions while also working independently. A neat, professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude are important. The job also requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay starts at $21.00 per hour, with the final rate determined by factors such as experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
Associates working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. Temporary and seasonal associates are not eligible for paid time off.
