Freelance Presentation Designer

Role overview

Mindrift is hiring a freelance Presentation Designer for the Tendem project, where the focus is on crafting polished storytelling workflows inside a hybrid AI-and-human setup. In this position, you will work alongside Tendem Agents that take care of repetitive work, while you contribute the judgment, subject-matter understanding, and design precision needed to produce compelling, high-impact presentations.

This is a remote, part-time opportunity suited to creative specialists who have practical experience in visual communication, information design, and narrative-driven slide creation. The work centers on turning complicated material into persuasive presentation assets with a refined, professional finish.

Role focus

This freelance assignment is part of a Tendem project. The main emphasis is on visual hierarchy and storytelling. You will be expected to transform raw inputs, structured data, and complex ideas into elegant decks and one-pagers that communicate clearly and convincingly. Typical tools used in the workflow include PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.

What you will do

• Create premium pitch decks and client-ready one-pagers tailored to specific audiences.
• Convert dense or multi-layered information into simple, visually guided narratives with minimal and clean layouts.
• Improve slide quality through custom typography, refined motion, and strong visual consistency.
• Maintain a polished style that blends corporate professionalism with a more creative visual identity.
• Check each deliverable carefully for alignment, timing, visual flow, and brand consistency before handing it over.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a similar creative discipline is an advantage.

You should be comfortable building complex and animated presentations in PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar software.

Strong practical ability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma is needed for custom graphics and layout work.

You must be able to translate structured data and layered information into concise, easy-to-follow visual stories.

Advanced typography skills and the ability to create smooth, sophisticated animations are important for this role.

English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.

Additional requirements

Experience producing premium, high-end presentation layouts with a corporate-meets-creative look is expected.

You should be highly detail-oriented and committed to achieving excellent visual quality.

The role also requires an independent working style and the ability to solve design issues without close supervision.

Your CV must include a portfolio link showing strong examples of presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization work. Applications without a portfolio link or without relevant presentation samples will not be reviewed.

Workload and compensation

During active project periods, the expected workload is approximately 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and not a fixed guarantee of available hours.

Compensation can reach the equivalent of $50 per hour, depending on your skill level and the speed of your output. Pay may vary by project based on scope, complexity, and the level of expertise required.
