What the role involves

You will carry out tender inspections, check repair scopes and costs, and confirm that builder submissions meet technical, service, and commercial expectations. The position includes a mix of field-based work and office or hybrid duties, with involvement in a wide variety of insurance repair matters such as storm, fire, impact, escape of liquid, malicious damage, and liability-related claims.

Key responsibilities

• Visit sites to inspect progress, workmanship quality, and any variations from the approved scope.
• Run and support tender inspections with panel builders.
• Review builder tenders and assess them against technical and commercial requirements.
• Spot exclusions, missing items, and any work that does not align with the brief.
• Draft detailed scopes of work and accurate repair cost estimates.
• Handle customer questions and concerns through the life of a claim.
• Write clear, well-structured reports for technical and stakeholder review.
• Carry out validation audits in line with established processes and frameworks.
• Ensure work aligns with SLAs and policy liability obligations.

What you bring

Required experience and capabilities

• At least 3 years of experience in a building-related role.
