Role overview
This is an 11-month onsite contract in Dublin, with work required five days a week. Only candidates who are already based in Dublin and meet the role criteria will be considered.
In this position, you will handle incoming escalations as a Regional Enforcement Specialist. The role calls for strong cultural and linguistic judgment, along with a solid grasp of implementation standards and enforcement tools, so that each case is resolved correctly. You will act as the go-to expert for your assigned market, especially when content needs local context to be interpreted accurately. When a case is unclear or especially complex, you will work with internal teams to determine the right enforcement outcome.
Non-negotiable requirements
Candidates must meet all of the following conditions:
- You must be a native or fluent speaker of the target language, with strong knowledge of the country’s culture, politics, minority communities, local dialects, and slang.
- You need around 3 years of actual Trust and Safety or content moderation experience in the specific language and market. Language ability by itself is not enough.
- You must be comfortable reviewing graphic, disturbing, or objectionable material, including child exploitation, graphic violence, animal abuse, and self-harm content.
Eligible language and market combinations
Applicants must have native or fluent proficiency in one of the following language and location pairings: Amharic (Ethiopia), Arabic (Syria), Azerbaijani (Azerbaijan), Bengali (India), Burmese (Myanmar), Cambodian (Cambodia), Czech and Slovak (Czech Republic), English (Australia), French (Sub-Saharan Africa, DRC, Burkina Faso, or France), German (Germany), Greek (Greece), Hausa (Nigeria), Hebrew (Israel), Hindi (India), Indonesian (Indonesia), Italian (Italy), Japanese (Japan), Korean (Korea), Maghreb Arabic (Libya), Mongolian (Mongolia), Polish (Poland), Sinhala (Sri Lanka), Somali (Somalia), Swahili (Tanzania), Tigrinya (Ethiopia), Uzbek (Uzbekistan), or Vietnamese (Vietnam).
Responsibilities
- Review incoming requests through production queues and ticketing systems, taking action accurately and within SLA targets.
- Apply platform rules consistently, including Terms of Service, Community Standards, advertiser and commerce policies, and product-specific guidance.
- Support language and AI work by serving as a reference point for regional translations and model performance.
- Spot emerging market risks, trends, and high-risk scenarios, and share recommendations with full-time staff for proactive enforcement.
- Work closely with Policy, Legal, and Operations teams on nuanced or difficult cases.
- Maintain a minimum 90% accuracy level and escalate cases that do not fit existing decision paths in a timely manner.
Preferred background
- Strong accuracy in fast-paced, high-volume content review settings.
- Hands-on experience with moderation tools and queue-based workflows.
- Data-oriented skills, including practical knowledge of AI usage.
- A background in Social Sciences or Computer Science is common, though it is not mandatory.
