Odney is hiring a Creative Content Designer to join its creative team in Bismarck, North Dakota. This role is ideal for someone who can blend visual design, short-form writing, and digital production to create compelling campaigns across social media, digital ads, websites, email, and other marketing channels. The position calls for a candidate who can move comfortably between designing graphics, writing engaging copy, and producing HTML5 digital assets while keeping quality and brand consistency top of mind.
The right person will bring strong design instincts, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to turn ideas into polished content that supports client goals. You will work alongside creative, account, and digital team members to build integrated marketing materials for clients in a variety of industries. This is an on-site role based in Bismarck, ND.

Responsibilities
- Create eye-catching visuals for social media, digital advertising, websites, email campaigns, presentations, and related marketing materials.
- Develop both static and animated digital creative that fits brand standards and campaign goals.
- Write concise social posts, ad copy, headlines, calls to action, and other short-form marketing text.
- Build HTML5 display ads for programmatic, display, and digital ad campaigns.
- Resize, adapt, and refine assets for different platforms, formats, and screen specifications.
- Work with account executives, strategists, designers, copywriters, digital specialists, and multimedia colleagues on integrated campaigns.
- Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions for campaigns, promotions, and content initiatives.
- Keep all creative work aligned with brand guidelines across visual and written assets.
- Prepare final production files and digital assets that meet platform standards.
- Check work for accuracy, quality, functionality, and brand compliance before delivery.
- Handle multiple assignments at once while meeting deadlines and production timelines.
- Keep up with current design trends, social media practices, digital ad changes, and new technologies.
- Support website content updates and the creation of digital marketing assets.
Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, advertising, marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or a similar area, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in graphic design, content creation, advertising, or a comparable creative position.
- A strong portfolio showing design work, digital ads, social content, writing, and creative problem-solving.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, along with Canva.
- Experience creating content for social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong writing and editing ability, with the flexibility to tailor messaging for different audiences, brands, and channels.
- Experience producing HTML5 display ads and understanding of digital ad specs and best practices.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and digital production processes.
- Understanding of digital marketing, user experience, and online advertising principles.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished work.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Ability to balance several priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving agency setting.
- Agency background is considered an advantage.
