Job Overview

Orient House for Development & Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead site execution for projects in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all day-to-day construction work at the project site.
• Make sure execution follows approved drawings, specifications, and the agreed schedule.
• Work closely with Project Managers, consultants, and subcontractors to keep delivery on track.
• Track progress on site and prepare weekly and monthly status reports.
• Maintain compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations, ADM requirements, and HSE standards.
• Evaluate and sign off on method statements, work plans, and material submittals.
• Manage site resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment usage.
• Identify technical and operational issues and lead timely resolutions on site.
• Ensure strong quality control and proper use of QA/QC procedures.
• Watch project costs, changes, and budget performance throughout execution.
• Run regular site meetings and review overall progress with relevant stakeholders.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a secure site environment.
• Support project handover, inspections, and all close-out documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10–15 years of construction experience, ideally gained in the UAE.
• Solid background in building and civil construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, project planning, and site supervision.
• Working knowledge of Abu Dhabi building codes and local authority rules.
• Ability to use MS Office, Primavera P6, and other project management tools.
• Proven leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
