Cleaner

Role Overview

Velociti Services is hiring a Cleaner to work on-site at client facilities as part of the frontline team. The role centers on routine commercial cleaning and custodial support, including tasks such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and removing waste.

Core Duties

• Carry out standard cleaning and janitorial work at client locations.
• Vacuum, edge, dust, sweep, and mop floors as needed.
• Clean and replenish supplies in restrooms and breakrooms.
• Wash windows and remove trash to the designated disposal area.
• Support additional work assignments when requested.

• Work safely and follow all rules, procedures, and policies.
• Complete assigned work as part of a team.
• Keep the workspace neat and orderly at all times.
• Take direction well and respond appropriately to supervision.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Step in to help when staffing is short.
• Assist the shift lead with punch-list items.
• Use the required personal protective equipment correctly.
• Maintain a polished appearance and professional behavior.
• Provide a positive customer experience and focus on satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems and the work environment.
• Build trust through dependable performance.

• Be willing to take direction from the Cleaning Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and move items as required.
• Ability to climb small to medium stairways several times per day.
• Ability to stand for long stretches of time.
