This opportunity is being shared for a partner employer, which will handle applications and all later hiring steps. The company is seeking a Chat Operator located in New Zealand.

The position focuses on digital communication and AI-supported interaction monitoring. You will work in a high-volume, fast-moving, fully remote setting where careful observation and consistency shape the quality of user conversations. The work involves reviewing chat activity, supporting conversation standards, and helping improve AI-generated replies. You will also flag mismatches or errors in automated outputs and contribute to ongoing system refinement. It is a highly organized role that suits people who are analytical, disciplined, and able to stay focused for long periods. The role also provides exposure to AI tools and behavior analysis in online communication.

Key accountabilities

Keep watch over chat conversations throughout long shifts of 8 or more hours, making sure exchanges remain smooth and appropriate.
Step into conversations when needed to improve clarity, tone, or the quality of responses on behalf of companions.
Observe and assess communication patterns between users and conversational agents or companions.
Review how well AI-assisted responses perform, noting both effective elements and areas that need improvement.
Escalate technical problems or content issues found in automated replies so the system can be improved over time.
Coordinate requests for supporting content, including images or videos, when those materials are needed for the interaction.

Requirements

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay concentrated during repetitive, extended work.
A structured, careful, and disciplined way of organizing daily tasks.
Solid awareness of user behavior and basic customer psychology, along with a high level of empathy.
Interest in AI tools and a readiness to learn new systems quickly.
A proactive mindset with the ability to learn fast and adapt in a growth-focused environment.
Strong written Russian and a good working command of English.
