Associate Scripting Specialist

About the role

SKIM is hiring an Associate Scripting Specialist to join its Singapore office. The role sits within a growing international research consultancy that helps major consumer packaged goods, technology, and healthcare brands make better decisions in areas such as revenue management, innovation, and brand communications. The team works in a collaborative environment focused on methodological quality, client understanding, and practical problem-solving.

This position is suited to someone who enjoys building and scripting surveys, works well in a fast-moving setting, and can handle tasks accurately and efficiently. You will support market research projects by preparing survey scripts and contributing to smooth project delivery alongside colleagues.

What you will do

• Build and script surveys using Sawtooth software, and improve survey presentation with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Perl to boost respondent engagement.
• Work with project teams on a regular basis and take ownership of survey scripting delivery, including projects that may use proprietary tools such as virtual shopping screens.
• Carry out basic quality checks to confirm that scripts and survey logic function correctly and without errors.
• Work with internal clients to share practical guidance, recommend best practices, and help solve issues.
• Stay open to new methods and contribute ideas that help senior scripters improve efficiency and implement better solutions.

What we are looking for

• Someone who is focused, persistent, attentive to detail, and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
• 0 to 2 years of experience scripting quantitative survey data in a market research environment.
• A relevant degree or diploma, ideally supported by programming-related studies such as Informatics, Statistics, Marketing, Computer Science, or DevOps.
• Working knowledge of web basics including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and/or Perl.
• Experience using MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with market research is an advantage.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset and positive team spirit.
• Authorization to work in Singapore, specifically as a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
