Role Overview

The organization is looking for an experienced People Operations Associate who can run HR operational processes smoothly and help ensure a strong employee experience. The role involves maintaining people data, supporting onboarding and separation, handling employee lifecycle activities, and managing leaves, attendance, and other HR processes and systems. A process-driven mindset, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of People Ops practices are important for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, approve, and manage onboarding documentation and forms in the HRMS.
  • Coordinate with candidates and internal stakeholders during onboarding and separation activities.
  • Support background verification by working with vendors and HR business partners.
  • Handle employee lifecycle changes such as transfers, manager updates, and promotions.
  • Manage separation workflows and related administrative tasks.
  • Ensure attendance, leave, and encashment data is accurately passed to payroll.
  • Work with the HRMS team to support automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collect incentive information, verify it, and prepare payout inputs.
  • Track HR metrics and generate reports that support analysis, compliance, and decision-making.
  • Contribute to process standardization, efficiency improvements, and better data accuracy across HR operations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in People Operations or HRIS data management, ideally in an organization with 1,000+ employees.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and the employee life cycle.
  • Comfort working with HRIS platforms and related HR software; experience with Darwinbox is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and judgment.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
