Role Overview

This hourly contract opportunity is for a UX/UI specialist who can create engaging digital experiences for web and mobile products. The work is remote and the expected time commitment is between 10 and 40 hours per week. Compensation is set at $15 to $85 per hour.

What You’ll Do

Build user-focused interface concepts for web and mobile apps, including wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual designs.
Work closely with cross-functional partners to shape and deliver simple, intuitive product experiences.
Make sure design output aligns with accessibility expectations, usability best practices, and established brand standards.
Improve designs through input from user research, testing findings, and stakeholder comments.
Balance user needs with product functionality, visual appeal, and performance considerations.
Keep current with modern UX/UI methods, tools, and trends, with particular attention to AI-based products.
Present and explain design ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We’re Looking For

Solid hands-on experience in UX/UI design, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates relevant work.
Working knowledge of Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms.
Strong grasp of user-centered design practices and related methodologies.
Practical experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design assets.
Good communication skills and a strong eye for detail.
Comfort collaborating with people across different functions and disciplines.
Experience with user research and usability testing.
