Underwriting Specialist

Role overview

We are looking for an Underwriting Specialist to manage property-focused insurance underwriting for a brokerage environment in Gurugram. The role centers on assessing risk, working with property-related insurance lines, and supporting the placement of suitable coverage solutions for clients.

Core underwriting areas

• Review and handle property underwriting assignments with at least 3 years of relevant experience gained in an insurance company or brokerage.
• Work on Contractor's All Risk (CAR) insurance cases.
• Handle Equipment All Risk (EAR) insurance matters.
• Evaluate fire insurance policies.
• Assess coverage needs for buildings, contents, and plant & machinery.
