Overview
This role is for a Traffic Manager based in Abu Dhabi, working within the sports, entertainment, and events management space. The position focuses on planning and coordinating traffic, access, and movement arrangements so event attendees, staff, vehicles, and VIPs can move safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Help ensure attendees move through the event safely and without disruption.
- Work closely with operations, security, logistics, and venue stakeholders to support seamless event execution.
- Spot potential risks linked to traffic handling and access control, and escalate them promptly.
- Assist with planning vehicle circulation, visitor entry, staff transport, and VIP movement.
- Track the rollout of traffic plans and related operational needs.
- Make sure traffic, access, and transport arrangements match the wider festival operation plan.
- Coordinate the work of the appointed traffic management vendor/company.
- Serve as the main contact person for all traffic management matters.
Role Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree is needed for this position.
- Strong command of English and Arabic is expected.
