Role Summary
In this role, you will operate as a Technical Product Manager with ownership across product discovery, planning, delivery, launch readiness, and post-launch follow-through. You will turn business needs into precise technical requirements by quickly understanding platform capabilities and constraints, and you will partner with teams across Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Client Success to deliver meaningful solutions. The role also expects an AI-first mindset, with active use of AI tools to improve speed, quality, and scalability of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in support of the Senior Product Manager on strategic operational initiatives.
- Convert business priorities into detailed technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans while leading scoping discussions and producing clear written outputs.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Client Success to define, rank, and ship important capabilities.
- Own execution across discovery, planning, build, testing, release, and post-launch improvements, including roadmap delivery, release readiness, documentation, and team enablement.
- Create and maintain a structured intake and triage process for enhancement requests and operational items, capturing context, business impact, dependencies, and suggested priority for leadership review.
- Track platform risks and recurring operational issues, escalating them early to product leadership to aid decision-making.
- Coordinate dependencies, timelines, risks, status updates, and cross-functional alignment across multiple workstreams.
- Use data, client input, and market trends to guide product choices and improve feature effectiveness.
- Own product documentation, release communications, internal enablement assets, and stakeholder updates.
- Support conversations with clients and internal teams to refine requirements, confirm use cases, and encourage adoption.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude to improve drafting, analysis, prompt design, and documentation quality.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Management, or technical project leadership within a software company.
- Background in data, AI, e-commerce, marketplace, pricing, or content optimization products is preferred.
- Direct experience working with Engineering and Data Science on APIs, data pipelines, analytics, or automation features.
- Strong ability to turn unclear requests into structured requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation, then drive work through completion across teams.
- Ability to read and interpret API documentation and technical requirements, including REST concepts, authentication patterns, payloads, and webhook basics.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Exposure to a highly integrated environment involving APIs and webhooks is preferred.
- Experience with the Rithum for Brands (ChannelAdvisor) platform is preferred.
- Familiarity with tools commonly used for technical delivery and operations, such as JIRA, Notion, backlog systems, documentation tools, and basic data analysis, is preferred.
- An intrapreneurial or founder-like mindset is preferred.
- Travel may be required up to 10%.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed, and responsibilities may change with or without notice.
