Overview
This opportunity is for a Technical Account Manager focused on cyber security and managed security services sales in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role is suited to a bilingual professional who can work with enterprise clients, speak Arabic, and communicate fluently in English. Experience selling into complex organizations and an understanding of government procurement processes are important.
Role Expectations
- Bring 8 to 10 years of experience in cyber security sales.
- Have at least 2 years of experience selling Managed Security Services (MSS).
- Be comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers.
- Preferably have experience in operational technology (OT) environments.
- Be fluent in Arabic and English.
- Demonstrate strong enterprise client relationship skills.
- Have exposure to a 3-tier selling model through channel partners.
- Be willing to travel for work up to 50% of the time.
- Understand government buying and procurement processes well.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with sales leadership to shape and execute go-to-market plans for managed security services, including market targeting, positioning, and pricing.
- Identify, qualify, and grow new business opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, and other lead-generation methods.
- Use a consultative approach to understand client security needs, business goals, and compliance demands, then recommend suitable managed security offerings.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations for decision-makers, clearly explaining business value, technical strengths, and return on investment.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, solution architects, and legal teams to draft proposals, quotations, and contract documentation aligned to customer needs and compliance requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements, handle objections, and drive deals through to closure.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams before, during, and after the sales cycle.
- Track market movements, security trends, and competitor activity to sharpen sales strategy and position the services effectively.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong background in B2B sales, especially in cybersecurity or IT services.
- Solid understanding of managed security services such as SIEM, SOC, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and incident response.
- Ability to explain complex security topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills.
- Capacity to work independently while contributing effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are an advantage.
