About Tracksuit
Tracksuit helps businesses demonstrate the value of brand-building with data that enables smarter marketing decisions, stronger internal buy-in, and more resilient growth. The company is growing quickly across New Zealand, Australia, the US, and the UK, and supports brands in proving brand impact across markets. Its team is collaborative, ambitious, and focused on doing work that matters, guided by a culture of high care and high performance.
Role overview
Tracksuit is looking for its first Talent Partner for the Northern Hemisphere, based in the New York office and reporting to the Global Talent Lead. In this role, you will take ownership of hiring across the US and UK, ensure new starters are set up for success through strong onboarding, and help bring People initiatives to life locally.
This is a varied, hands-on position where priorities can shift quickly. You might be sourcing a senior marketer, welcoming a new joiner, or helping adapt a global People programme for the US market. You will serve as the People representative for the Northern Hemisphere and play a key role in shaping the employee experience from the start.
Recruitment and talent acquisition
- Lead end-to-end hiring for roles in the US and UK, including sourcing, posting jobs, interviewing, offer negotiation, and contract preparation.
- Work closely with hiring managers to define role needs, write engaging job descriptions, and guide them toward a consistent and high-quality hiring approach.
- Develop strong future talent pipelines through proactive sourcing on LinkedIn, job boards, professional communities, and other channels.
- Deliver a smooth and positive candidate journey at every stage.
- Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging efforts early in the hiring process.
Onboarding and people experience
- Create onboarding experiences that feel welcoming, well-organised, and true to Tracksuit’s values.
- Ensure every Northern Hemisphere hire feels prepared, connected, and excited to contribute from day one.
Office and local operations
- Own the New York office experience and help maintain a space that feels inclusive, energetic, and well-run.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to keep the office stocked, organised, and operating smoothly.
People programmes and local rollout
- Act as the link between the global People team and the Northern Hemisphere, localising and rolling out initiatives so they work well in the US and UK context.
- Help maintain compliance with relevant US and UK employment laws and internal policies.
- Support employer branding through events, social channels, partnerships, and related activities.
- Use ATS and recruitment data effectively to improve decisions and processes.
Continuous improvement
- Look for ways to make processes, experiences, and workflows better on an ongoing basis.
- Address inefficiencies and improve systems with a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
What you will bring
You should be a relationship-driven, commercially aware recruiter who enjoys building culture and is comfortable working in a role with a lot of variety. You will likely be energetic, organised, empathetic, and able to work independently while helping define a new function in the region.
Experience and capabilities
- At least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, ideally in a startup or fast-growing environment.
- Background managing a busy go-to-market hiring portfolio, including Customer, Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships roles.
- Strong proactive sourcing habits, with the ability to build talent pools before a hiring need becomes urgent.
- Solid track record of running full-cycle recruitment and hiring successfully across multiple markets.
- Exposure to onboarding design or people operations, or a strong interest in building those capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organisation.
- Confidence using ATS platforms, ideally Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and similar recruitment tools.
- Understanding of startup hiring dynamics, including how to position equity benefits such as ESOP to candidates.
- Comfort working with AI tools for sourcing, screening, drafting communications, and streamlining workflows.
- Creative, proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on improving how work gets done.
Nice to have
- Experience recruiting in both the US and UK markets.
- A network within US tech, startup, or marketing communities.
- Familiarity with HiBob or a similar HRIS platform.
Culture and working style
Tracksuit welcomes candidates who may not fit a traditional mould. The company values attitude, adaptability, and people who are willing to get involved across a wide range of tasks. Its culture is practical, informal, fast-moving, and built around supporting one another while aiming high.
Benefits and compensation
- All employees receive ESOP from day one.
- Health and wellness support includes a $300 annual wellness bonus, access to a premium EAP platform, and 6 weeks of PTO.
- Parental benefits include 12 weeks of paid parental leave in addition to legal entitlement, extra sick leave for IVF, and a gradual return-to-work arrangement.
- An L&D budget is provided to support professional growth.
- The company offers flexible working: offices are based in New York, London, Sydney, and Auckland, and while the business is office-first, there is day-to-day flexibility.
- Employees receive a Tracksuit as part of the onboarding experience.
- Salary is reviewed annually through comprehensive compensation reviews, with rolling promotions available when you level up.
- The role includes a salary range of $110,000 to $140,000 per year, along with a strong benefits package and ESOP.
Hiring process note
AI tools may be used to support parts of the recruitment process, such as reviewing applications, analysing resumes, or checking for inconsistencies in application materials. These tools assist the recruitment team, but final decisions are always made by people. Candidates can request more information about how data is processed.
