Position Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-focused Supply Planning Analyst to support supply planning operations in San Diego, CA. The role centers on end-to-end planning execution, purchase order oversight, and coordination with contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs).
This opportunity is well-suited to a supply chain professional who wants to contribute in a regulated manufacturing setting and grow into a longer-term role, with strong potential to convert to a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily supply planning work, keep production plans current, and send accurate forecasts to CMOs in a timely manner.
- Manage purchase orders, track inventory positions, and maintain precise records across all planning and tracking sheets.
- Spot possible supply chain issues or constraints early and put practical mitigation plans in place.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors/CMOs to align supply plans with demand requirements.
- Use ERP tools and advanced Excel-based models to verify data, evaluate supply chain performance, and support ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required; preferred backgrounds include business, engineering, analytics, supply chain, or a related field.
- 2 to 4+ years of practical experience in supply chain, demand planning, or supply planning roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP platforms, especially NetSuite and NSPB (NetSuite Planning and Budgeting).
- Advanced Excel capability for analysis, validation, and modeling work.
- Demonstrated strength in supply planning, inventory control, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across functions and with outside partners.
- Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Solid vendor management skills with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
Additional Information
This is a 6+ month contract assignment with strong potential to convert into a full-time role based on performance.
